A new paradigm for the 21st century
The Hope for the Global Poor meeting seeks to serve God's work of wholistic transformation of Individuals, Families, Communities, and Nations.
What is the meeting?
- A coming together of three of the Transform World Focus Groups, plus many other practitioners, who have the commonality of working with the poorest of the poor to network and to learn from each other.
- A meeting of practitioners who are working with the poor in transformational ministries and who want to learn from each other.
- An extension of Transform World.
- Starting right after Transform World India 2006 with arrival on October 29th to be in the last day of solidarity, with meetings beginning the 30th and ending Nov 2, 2006.
- At the same venue in Hyderabad as Transform World
- Fully funded by the participants themselves.
What is the purpose?
The purpose of the Hope for the Global Poor meeting is:
- To connect people who are practitioners doing community transformation with the poor; to learn from one another; to glean best practices in order transform communities throughout the world of the poor.
- To examine whether this meeting could become a prototype for other similar meetings of commonality groups, (leaders, government. business).
Meeting Program:
- Three day of seminars on topics of interest to the practitioners such as health, micro-enterprise, techniques for working with the poor, transformational techniques, literacy, agriculture, scaling up their ministries through multiplication.
- Learn best practices of individual transformational ministries with the poor.
- Learn about Transformational Indicators and how to use them.
- Learn about Transform World Collaborative.
- Network with each other to establish relationships.
What can I do?
- Plan to participate October 29 through November 2, 2006 in Hyderabad India if you have a similar interest.
- Stay after the main Transform World Meeting.
- Be a presenter.
- Give your input of what topics you would like to learn about.
